Why do you need to know my location, and how can I change my location settings?

Don't worry, we're not spies. We only use your location to show you the most relevant members and help you match with other people nearby.

For this to work, you need to go to ‘Settings’ in your Inner Circle account turn on location services.

There, you can also choose which services you want to use:

Location updates – Lets us update your location when you’re using the app

Background location updates – Lets us occasionally update your location while you’re not using the app

Show my location on the map – Lets us share the area that you're in (rather than just the city). This is a 4km area, so members will never see your exact location.

If you’re using an iPhone, you also need to give the app permission to use your location. To do this:

- Open ‘Settings' in your iPhone

- Scroll down until you see the Inner Circle app, and select it

- Under location settings, choose ‘Always’
